One of the sweet and savory flavors we roasted these tomatoes with is a bacon barrel aged maple syrup. Yes, you read that right! While the name says bacon, it actually contains NO animal products yet has all the smoky flavor of bacon. If your taste buds are fine tuned, you’ll even pick up an undertone of bourbon notes. 

Since these little guys require a few hours to roast, you will need to plan ahead of time when making these. If you meal prep over the weekend, toss these in the oven first to give them a head start.

Once these seasoned tomatoes hit a semi-dried state in the oven they are ready to eat. We loved using them as a pizza topping, tossing in salads or with other roasted veggies, and even adding them to an antipasto plate. Really, the possibilities are endless.
