Maple-Bourbon Glazed Salmon

Savory-sweet glaze for salmon with a touch of bourbon. 

Servings: 2 

Total Time: 15 Minutes

Ingredients

Prep

  1. Turn the oven broil on high.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together sugar, chili powder, paprika, and salt.
  4. Coat salmon with dry rub and place on prepared baking sheet.

Cooking

  1. Broil salmon for 7-8 minutes.
  2. Brush on maple syrup and broil 1-2 additional minutes.

Pro Tips

  1. Coconut sugar can be substituted for brown sugar.
  2. If salmon still has skin on one side, coat skinless side with rub and place the skin side down on the baking sheet.
